I have, in this current body of work, applied illustrative skills to a series of chairs. The chairs I have used have all been abandoned, found on the street or in skips, discarded because they have become unfashionable, broken or worn. I like the idea of transforming something unloved and worthless into something unique and beautiful.

Matt, Joe and Eve have been photographing jelly babies for nearly a year now. They buy them on Saturday from the Dinkie on North St – the best sweet shop and tobacconist in Bristol – photograph them, and then eat them.
My collection, Sunday Best 2007, is the result of a journey of exploration, learning and discovery. The garments have been designed and made by myself, for the most part over the last five years. The collection displays my interest in corsetry, drapery and experimental cut, onto which I have expressed a desire for beading and embellishment. I like to think the wearer feels a sense of fun and pride when wearing my clothes and corsages too.
The work is a celebration of the invisible, animating force contained within the visible. The work is in a variety of media, including; Artists Books, Painting and Photography.
Studied Illustration at UWE Bristol 1998-2001 obtaining 1st Class BA Honours Degree. Can often be found loitering around various coffee shops in Bristol and Bath, sketchbook in hand, scribbling quick drawings of the various human oddities out and about littering the filth-strewn streets. These retarded doodles normally form the basis of his finished drawings. He has had work published in the UK, USA and Sweden and has exhibited his drawings and paintings in Bristol and London.
