SBA Trail Poster for 2008

Graphic design: Mark Cleave

The sixth Southbank Arts Trail will be a weekend of arts and performance in homes, churches, community centres and public houses around Southville, Bedminster and Ashton.

Venues will be open on 10 and 11 May, between 11am and 6pm, welcoming the public to see and enjoy work from artists, makers, performers, musicians, and others in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

A busy weekend ahead

This year’s Arts Trail will see about 140 artists showing in over 45 venues around Southville, Bedminster and Ashton in Bristol. With visitor numbers increasing yearly, we anticipate in excess of 4000 visitors over the weekend. The Arts Trail is shaping up to be an interesting and exciting event for the whole family.

Artist details and venues

More details of the artists who have added their details to this website can be seen on the Artists A-Z pages. An A-Z list of venues, with links to venue pages, can be found on the Arts Trail venues 2008 page. There are two trail maps (for maximum accessibility) one is a static trail map with links to venue pages in both a key and a list, ordered by venue number around the trail, and another which is a Google map of the trail venues that is movable and zoomable.

Please also see the Events and activities, Moving Image Festival and End of Trail party pages for more information on trail related events and things to do over the weekend.

Trail brochure and poster

Trail brochures, containing a map, artist and venue details will be available from selected venues on the days of the trail. You can get a copy of the Arts Trail 2008 poster and pages from the brochure, to print or save, on the Arts Trail 2008 downloads page.
