
Take your images of life in South Bristol to the Southville Centre over the trail weekend, and have then included in a message to the future!
The Southville Centre (venue 26) is planning to hide a time capsule in the loft to celebrate their 20th birthday and they need your help to collect a wide and varied visual record of the wonderful people and vibrant life of Bristol’s Southbank.
Take along your photos and/or drawings to show future generations how we lived. Images will be included in a display over the trail, then hidden in our treasure chest time capsule as our message to the future. Please see the Southville Centre Time Capsule news story for more information.
Bushido Brothers will also be bringing their melodic, original songs, somewhere between English pop and Americana, to the Southville Centre from 11 am to 2 pm on Saturday.
Creative Glass Guild (venue 36) is proud to present an exciting exhibition featuring the work of their customers and students, featuring a diverse range of artworks in a variety of glass disciplines. There will be a public vote to award prizes to the exhibitors over the Arts Trail weekend (8 - 9 of May from 10.00 am - 4.00 pm), so please drop in and make your vote!
Other artists in the venue are showing Raku Ceramics and paintings. There is also an interactive installation by Potential Indifference, a digital art collective based at Bristol Robotics Laboratory, named "Milk Pixel". The installation was previously part of the "Uncraftivism" show at the Arnolfini, and has since been improved! Make sure you go and take a look, and have a play!

St Paul’s Church Crypt and cafe will be hosting a variety of acoustic acts on Saturday. On Saturday night, it's Blues night with the Cornubia Blues Collective, The Blues Boys, Jon Lewis, Nigel Smith, Switch (BYO, £3 entrance). All proceeds to the Chile earthquake relief.
There is a Sunday morning cafe service with various live musicians.
In the St John’s room is a multi-media sensory spiritual space with moving image and music.

Dance with Shameena - Come and share Shameena’s passion for Middle Eastern
dance, with displays and workshops covering Egyptian and Turkish dance fused with folk,
