It's that time of year again when all I seem to live, eat and breathe is the Arts Trail. Whilst this is not actually true, it really does seem to be sometimes. It's a constant round of chasing people - artists, makers, venues. So, as well as looking forward to the Trail weekend as a great event to be a part of, I can't wait for Monday 12 May when it will all be over for another year. And this is my last year as part of the group which organises the Trail, so I think I'll be able to breathe a little more easily soon.

This year's Arts Week Passport Guides are now being distributed. Any help with this is always welcomed - tel. 07742 740642 or email communication@sbaweb.co.uk to arrange times to collect copies to distribute and send out.
This year's Guide has been wonderfully designed by Mark Cleave, and it's easy to see how much hard work he has done to create such a good publication.
Don't miss out - pick up your guide today from points all around the city including The Southville Centre, Beauley Road, Bristol.
As Co-ordinator of the Trail I get quite a lot of phone calls and emails from people who are worried that they have missed deadlines or can't upload images or even that they don't know how to price their work. My first bit of advice would be breathe, breathe, breathe. There is nothing to panic about - missed deadlines might happen, but they're not the end of the world. I'm pretty sure that everyone's got the right information out at the right time (apologies now for any omissions). Read more →
