its still really hot here, although it has cooled down loads.
We hired a car for three days. Yesturday we went to pafos and looked at some ruins, lemba to see the sculpture wall which was really cool and aphrodites rock to... mmmm... swim and lay on the beach.

Just thought I'd let you all know how me and Lucy are getting on in sunny Cyprus.
For those of you that don't know we have come out for the Cyprus College of Arts summer studio, and are staying in Larnaca.
We arrived of the plane into the sweltering heat of Larnaca to be told that the area is exeriencing a heat wave (yes I know i'm not gonna get any sympathy considering the weather you've been having at home)

The idea of the trip is to make art (with some people doing this more successfully than others-mmm)

hi, just a short one...

this is stupid really coz it was my fault for not reading the signs properly.
When attending the last steering meeting and artists forum at the tobacco factory i made the decision to park in the aldi car park so as not to clutter up the road ( i know its a bit cheaky coz its a shoppers car park). At this time the car park was virtually empty and i parked at the opposite end to the shop- so as not to inconvenience reall customers.

i'm involved in organising arts events and 'exhibitions' at Windows204, 204 Gloucester road.

On 27th September we are hosting 'video cuts' a video screening by a group from central st martins college.

As we currently have no funding (and video cuts has very little) we are trying to find someone who might lend us a projector for the evening (the kind that you attach to a computer or dvd player).
I know that this is a big ask, so we would be very very very very very very very..... grateful.

We might also need some chairs (any colour, shape etc)

wow, now that it all over are we allowed to sleep now??
Even the rain didn't seem to stop the people coming and coming and coming and coming....

and the decorating bags workshop was great fun, and nice and messy (thankyou lucy for finishing my bag, its-um-interesting).

i'll add some more when i've fully recovered.......
