Do you have a favourite flower?
Do you know what your wife/girlfriend/partner's favourite flower is?
Since signing up to pop my arts trail cherry I have been on a mission with my random acts of creativity. It's amazing how motivating it is to have a deadline!
So far I have created 9 canvasses - mostly of big, bright flowers. I like playing with different media and went hunting through my sewing scraps for my latest canvas.
A sunflower made from fabric scraps and buttons. I hope you like it x
I'm an arts trail virgin, and to celebrate I'm planning to do some cupcakes for people to much on as they browse around. My idea is to do 'virgin cocktail cupcakes'.
What's your favorite cocktail?
So far; Mojito Cupcakes (Lime cake with mint icing), Pinocolada Cupcakes (Coconut cake with pineapple icing).
I'm all about the experimentation, and of course, I'll have to get baking and try out some ideas.

The Bearded Woman
At our February meeting we began to create works for the arts trail.
I've been spending the last few weeks sketching in public! Hmmm, now I don't sketch, as a rule, but with my own naive art style I've gradually got used to not being hidden behind a canvas indoors, without sunlight, on the sabbath, sorry, I got carried away there. The results, against my better judgement, along with my experiments in watercolour and torn paper can be found on Facebook these days.
