What bliss to be home. It's been a hell of a day at work – Right from the moment I got in – The air con's still not fixed – My PC crashed about 7 times – The boss was in a foul mood, then he needed all those reports before tomorrow – So I had to work late – Thank heavens for Ginger and the last of the Merlot!!

'House/Landscape'

Visiting and working in Japan has had a strong influence on my work as a sculptor, in particular the traditional Japanese house which sits so neatly in the landscape. Within many houses there is a small shrine for the worship of ancestors. This sculpture is a synthesis of my interest in Japanese gardens and architecture and also geology.
