On Saturday 30th May Broadwalk Arts will be hosting a mini art market to run alongside our 'playtime' exhibition. Pitches cost £15 for 2m of wallspace (please bring your own tables). Set up will be from 8.30am with doors open from 10am to 5pm.

Broadwalk Arts is looking for people who want to run classes, worshops and talks in our space at Broadwalk Shopping Centre, Knowle.
We are also interested in groups looking for somewhere to meet (e.g. maybe you are part of a book club or want to set up a knitting club)

The weekend of March 27 to 29 sees two empty shops - 26 and 28 North Street - playing host to illuminate’s first event ‘Spring Forward’. Number 26 will feature a series of back-projected films made by Bristol related artists Kathy Hinde, Elle Farnham, Harriet Fleuriot & Duncan McGonigle, Claire Louise Barrie, Joe Magee, Elise Hurcombe, James Ireland, Ed Tucker, Wilkie Branson and Nathan Hughes alongside an exhibition in the empty property (no. 28) next door. We are looking for artists who would be interested in using this popular windows space ont to the busy Gloucester road in Bristol. We are looking for artists of all discliplines who want to show work and make new work for the space.
To apply please send a statement/ proposal about your work and how you intend to use the space along with up to 6 jpeg images.
Artists generally use the space for about two weeks (we would ask for a donation of £30 to help us cover expenses)

EXHIBITION BRIEF
An open exhibition inviting artists of all disciplines to submit work responding to the themes in the title.
Venue: Broadwalk Arts, 14 Broadwalk Shopping Centre, Knowle, Bristol
Dates: 25th May to 30th May 2009
Submissions: Good quality 300dpi jpeg images (5cmx5cm) submitted on CD. Film should be submitted on dvd where possible and sound work on cd.
These should be accompanied by the exhibition submission form, 50-70 words about each work and a cheque for £5 which entitles the submission of 3 works.
Broadwalk Arts, Broadwalk shopping centre, Knowle will be holding its first art market on Saturday 14th March. Set up will be from 8.30am with doors opening at 10am.
