Here’s a post for all of those who are not familiar with blogs (short for web logs) or “just don't get them”. Some of you will know about these already, but for those who don’t, this is for you. I'm posting this as a member news post and member blogs post as it applies to both of them.
Before you ignore this altogether, or decide that these things aren’t for you, please have a look at this excellent video on the Common Craft website by Lee LeFever, who explains Blogs in Plain English (it's also available on YouTube).

Well, things are well under way for my first exhibition. Pictures printed and framed (well most of them) some nice little calling cards produced and a strange mixture of panic and joy is descending on me. Perfect solution - pop out with the camera and take a few more piccies. Probably won't show them on May 10-11, but who knows?
I'm currently organising a rolling programme of monthly exhibitions at the Grainhouse Cafe in the Bristol YHA on 14 Narrow Quay.
If you'd like us to consider showing your work please email me for more information on how to apply.
Groups and individuals welcome!
I'm organising a last minute group exhibition at the Grainhouse Cafe which is part of the youth hostel on the harbourside in Bristol. I'm hoping to hang the exhibition on Sunday 27th April. The show will be on the theme of journeys and travel. If you have work (preferably wall based) on this theme and would be interested in knowing more information please give me an email!
We need drivers and runners to help us to distribute this years Art Trail Brochures around Bristol. If you have a car and a friend to help, or don't mind driving a runner around, or wouldn't mind running in and out of someones car please get in touch!!! I can pair up any volunteers as necessary.
Your help will be greatly appreciated and is essential to help us to get as many people around the Arts Trail as possible!
If you can spare an hour of your time please contact Lucy Axon by emailing:
