Studied Illustration at UWE Bristol 1998-2001 obtaining 1st Class BA Honours Degree. Can often be found loitering around various coffee shops in Bristol and Bath, sketchbook in hand, scribbling quick drawings of the various human oddities out and about littering the filth-strewn streets. These retarded doodles normally form the basis of his finished drawings. He has had work published in the UK, USA and Sweden and has exhibited his drawings and paintings in Bristol and London.

Former architect (retired from his successful Practice in Buckinghamshire in 2005) and now working with young people in education. In theory, this provides him with lots more time to take photographs and to draw; in practice, this doesn’t quite happen!
Drawings tend to be pen+ink/line drawings, sometimes incorporating watercolour – although he’s been experimenting recently with wax and watercolour inks. Photographs frequently incorporate light, water, reflection, line and colour – although he’s been increasingly working in black+white over the past year or so.
