The Girls at 'The Boat House', ( Venue’s ‘‘Favourite venue’’ 06), invite you to join them once again to engage with their installation this year.
The Labyrinth is often seen as a metaphor for our ‘spiritual life journey’, with many twists and turns, but no dead ends. This Labyrinth is a playground for allowing your intuition and imagination to take flight. So, follow whatever enters your head and your heart whilst within the walls of this labyrinth, which many consider to be a ‘sacred space’.
PARTICIPATING ARTISTS include REBECCA ELLIS, SHARON BIRD, FEE BARTON, INDIGO CRAIG, ERICA ROONEY, HENRY PARR, MO JANNSSEN and JANE DAWSON, all bringing their collective creative skills and beliefs to this space. Working with enamel, sculpture, with sound, light, images and interactive experiences, this is an exhibition welcoming to both grown–ups and small people alike and well worth walking those few extra steps.....

Studying fine Art at Camberwell in the early nineties, gifted me with a love of iconography, those symbols which enable us to decipher the intention of the creators of works of art through the ages. Painting in oils, Sculpting in wood, working with both enamel and silk, my work endeavours to tell stories in which I hope that past and present, ancient lore and modern discovery, can be reconciled. If ‘’Art is Alchemy’’ then I seek to shine light on the nugget of beauty present in things I have experienced. Nature is my greatest inspiration. Creatively I wish to honour and respect our planet and our humanity within this beautiful setting. Exhibitions have included those at the Grant Bradley Gallery in Bristol and at The Brownston Gallery in Devon. I exhibit regularly in The Southbank and Totterdown Arts Trails and my work can be viewed on request at my studio.
