Southbank Bristol Arts

Broadwalk Arts is a space for art in Broadwalk Shopping Centre, Knowle, Bristol.

Since moving into an empty shop in January, with support from Southbank Bristol Arts, Broadwalk Arts have hosted to a wide variety of exhibitions, events and workshops. These have included a touring show and communication, participatory events such as Knowle West Media Centres ‘Amazing Archive’ and exhibitions focussing on the locality, such as ‘The Secret Gardens of Knowle West’.

Broadwalk Arts now needs your help. Volunteers are needed to help hang and invigilate exhibitions and get involved in the overall planning and development of the space.

A Christmas exhibition of affordable art and artist made goods will be held at Broadwalk Arts from 14 December 2009 to 2 January 2010. The exhibition is open to all artists and makers in all disciplines. The deadline for submissions is 30 October 2009.
