Southville Centre Time Capsule

Southville Centre Time Capsule poster

We need your images of life in South Bristol!

The Southville Centre is planning to hide a time capsule in the loft to celebrate their 20th birthday and they need your help to collect a wide and varied visual record of the wonderful people and vibrant life of Bristol’s Southbank.

The Southville Centre would like as many members of the community as possible to contribute photos and/or drawings of family, friends, home, work, anything that will show future generations how we lived. Images will first be included in a display as part of the Southbank Bristol Arts Trail (May 8th and 9th), and then hidden in our treasure chest time capsule as our message to the future.

Photos and drawings can be dropped in the ‘Time Capsule’ box* at the Southville Centre between now and the 7th, or can be brought along and added to the display during the Trail.
There will also be a workshop at the Southville Centre during the trail where you can draw a self portrait to add to the display, or write a message to the people of South Bristol in one hundred years!

*Please Note: Please only donate images that you are happy to have on public display and that you don’t need returned.
