Our South Bank Arts Trail glass competition is now closed for entries. We've had an overwhelming response to the competition and are busy shortlisting for the exhibition - it's a hard job as the standard of entries is fantastic!
The exhibition will be held over the arts trail weekend (8th and 9th of May) from 10.00 - 4.00 at the spacious Creative Glass Guild studios (16 Whitehouse Street, BS3 4AY)in our brand new teaching space, which we will be opening for the first time that weekend! The exhibition promises to be a vibrant and colourful affair, not to be missed. Come along and vote for your favourite exhibits - prizes will be awarded by public selection over the weekend.
We're also delighted to host 5 talented guest artists as a South Bank Arts Trail venue:
Brian and Kathleen Fowler - Raku Ceramics with simple, natural organic forms; and drawings and paintings of a similar philosphophy exploring mark making techniques.
Nadia D.Manning - colourful oil on canvas inspired cultures, legends, myths, and surroundings - mostly those found in her urban environment.
Tamas Szikszay- Paintings inspired by nature, and both real and imagined landscapes
Potential Indifference - a digital art collective present their installation 'Milk Pixel' which was exhibited at the Arnolifini art gallery last year.
We look forward to seeing you over the exhibition weekend!
