The Power of Flowers Collection is made up of:
‘Charmed’–hand-made necklaces & bracelets.
‘Flowers in Your Hair’-hand decorated hair slides & bands.
‘Tea in the Garden’- hand-made and decorated chains & charm bracelets.
‘ReVamped’- recycled, revamped jewellery, plus..
'Gilding with Lilies'- revamped, hand embellished clothes.
I combine charms, pearls, glass beads, swarovski crystals, buttons, silk roses & other fabric and paper flowers & recycled vintage or retro style pieces. I use these to create a retro look with a distinctly floral theme.
As well as revamping jewellery I also revamp clothes. I source good quality retro or vintage day and evening wear and hand embellish with, for example, flowers, buttons, brooches, pearls and handmade corsages, giving each piece a unique new look.
Lots of things have provided inspiration for these collections……..I love a bit of sparkle & dressing up…….I love to garden, so flowers are a powerful (!) influence, especially roses……And I enjoy searching for unusual bits and pieces, I do love a good ‘find’ to give a new lease of life……A hint of times past…….And then there’s tea and cake, which can be enjoyed with all of the above and gives surprising creative input………….
