Southbank Bristol Arts

I have always been strongly drawn to textiles of all kinds – I love the colour, the texture, the smell of fabric. In recent years dyeing, printing, feltmaking and stitching have become something of a passion. In addition to my textile work, I also work as Finance Manager for an architectural practice. I enjoy both aspects of my work but often have difficulty reconciling the two.

For this year's South Bank Arts Trail I will be showing a quilt that has been four years in the making - it has journeyed with me in the transition from our life in Oxfordshire during the period of settling into life in Bristol.
