Janine Partington

Enamel panels

Janine Partington is a designer-maker creating fresh, clean and contemporary designs in enamel. She makes wall panels, jewellery, sculptures and clocks. The price for wall panels starts at £45, jewellery at £13, sculptures at £45 and clocks at £65. At this year's trail Janine will also be selling off end of line designs from previous years at greatly reduced prices.

It has been several years since Janine has exhibited at this Arts Trail (which she also helped to co-ordinate for a number of years), and even then she has never before opened up her home and studio. Whilst Janine exhibits and sells widely across the UK and beyond, it is actually rare for her work to be on show in Bristol (other than at the Affordable Art Fair each year at Bristol Temple Meads Station).

To mark her return to the Trail Janine will also be selling (at greatly reduced prices) her remaining samples of felt jewellery, embroidered bags and toys and collages that made her so popular in past years. They will be available for prices under £5 each.

Other work to view will include papercuts and cards, and there will be the opportunity to view her and her husband's personal collection of studio pottery including works by Wally Keeler, Claire Curneen and Mick Casson.

Janine's 10 year old daughter Breesha will also be showing some origami and manga pictures and running a free children's workshop both days to make origami-inspired pirate ships (there will be some pre-made to decorate) and just get creative with pens, pencils, glue and paper. Come and have some fun.
