Southbank Bristol Arts

My collection, Sunday Best 2007, is the result of a journey of exploration, learning and discovery. The garments have been designed and made by myself, for the most part over the last five years. The collection displays my interest in corsetry, drapery and experimental cut, onto which I have expressed a desire for beading and embellishment. I like to think the wearer feels a sense of fun and pride when wearing my clothes and corsages too.

The fabrics I have picked up or been given are often my starting point and include Welsh wool, Irish linen, textured silks and other fine fabrics. My style has developed as a result. I have been concerned with mixing up colours and textures in interesting and unusual ways. You probably won't find anything like this on the high street.
