During the Art Trail my work can be seen at the Grant Bradley Gallery. I am exhibiting large scale portraits in pastel. The Rolling Stones are an enigma. The adage 'too old to rock & roll, too young to die' doesn't apply. When selecting a pose of 'Ron', I wanted to capture the battle scars both physical and psychological, of a life of rock and roll. The incline of the face, the sideways stare of the half lighting portrays an arrogance suitable for rock royality and a menace with which this band were once associated, and which, as the 'young buck' of the outfit, Ron Wood still is.
