I graduated from Herefordshire College of Art in 2001 with BA (Hons) in Design Crafts and now live in Bristol.
I am a textile artist and printmaker of landscapes. My inspiration comes from places I have lived or visited, mostly Herefordshire and the Welsh Mountains, Scotland and Ireland. Having recently moved to Bristol I am now looking at the city as a new challenge, especially for my printmaking.
My approach is textural and I work in layers to build up a relief image. I do not draw any part of the image but work with the materials I use, to express the spontaneous blend of colour and form of the landscape.
