I'm a storyteller. My own storytelling style is influenced by my training in fine-art and experimental physical theatre. I perform stories for children's and adults groups in educational, community and leisure settings. Inspired by the 1960's New York "Happenings", I've recently set up "the Loft" in my home as a mini-stage-space for small-scale story or experimental artistic performances. This year's Arts Trail is the first time The Loft is opening to the public for a "Family Storytelling" event. There are two shows, at 2pm and 3pm, with the doors opening at 1.30pm and 2.40pm. Everyone is welcome, but children must be accompanied. No need to book. There are steep stairs into the venue, and space to store buggies upstairs.
