Taking part in SBA and its events
There are a number of events (see below) that the SBA host or are involved with, the best known of which is the annual Arts Trail. Taking part in the Arts Trail can really help your career and there are several benefits of being a member of the SBA, including receiving useful and informative news and having an account on the SBA website, which allows you to post information about yourself and your art, news of exhibitions, etc. and web log (blog) entries whenever you like.

Taking part in the SBA organisation
The SBA would also like to hear from anyone who would like to help run any aspects of the organisation itself, or any part of the Arts Trail or other events. Joining SBA teams to help out with the running of the organisation or events can be very rewarding and gives artists and others a chance to meet people and get involved in interesting ventures around Bristol. Some tasks require artistic abilities, many do not, so don't feel that you have to be an artist to join up. Any skills you can bring to the organisation will be gratefully received and there is a chance to learn and practise new skills, get experience and get something to write on your CV!
Please do come along to any of the monthly meetings (or special meetings like the annual general meeting) if you’d like to know more about being part of the organisation. The dates, times and locations of the meetings can be found on the SBA Calendar, usually well in advance of the meetings taking place.
