Evening Chorus began in early October 2009 in the bedroom of a terraced house in Cardiff. Two lifelong friends, a chance meeting and a university course-mate, all brought together by a love of tea, biscuits and folk music - decided to combine their own experience and influence and create something new.

Paula Bowles works as a children's book illustrator from the shared studio in her Southville home. Graduating from Falmouth College of Arts in 2005, her client list now includes Random House Children's Books (Red Fox) and Templar Publishing (illustrating the recently published 'Time for Bed, Tiger!'). She is also currently featured within an episode of 'Driver Dans Story Train' on Cbeebies Bedtime Hour.
