I'm a Creative Technologist who likes to dabble in amateur photography, origami and digital imagery whenever I get the chance. I've selected some photo prints, various bits of origami and photo loops on computer screens for this years trail.
It is the seemingly insignificant, disregarded things that constitute the raw material and subject matter of my work - withdrawn library books, old photographs of unknown people, squashed paperclips, fleeting gestures, ephemeral inscriptions on greetings cards. These found objects and captured moments fascinate because they have no obvious lasting value but are charged with hidden histories, memories and significance. Read more →

Recently I’ve added batik and print-making to my repertoire having been on a great Fabric Design course at St. Pauls Learning Centre.
The techniques really lend themselves to my love of texture, fabric and the element of surprise.
I plan to include some fledgling examples of them along with my ‘regular’ acrylic and mixed media paintings.
I'll be in the Beauley room at the Southville Centre and hope to see you there.
Eleanor Glover is exhibiting drawings, reliefs, and sculpture in mixed media.
Also at 20 Greville Road are large scale textural drawings by Jilly Morris and etchings by Colette Baker.

I create cheerful mixed media canvasses of flowers, accompanied by eclectic crafts and random acts of creativity. My husband will also be displaying some of his photographs. As well as painting and crafts I am also a writer and a Business Coach by profession. I'm looking forward to meeting lots of talented people on the trail. This is my first time so come and see me.
www.kerryday.co.uk Kerry Day is an artist who concentrates her gaze on the human figure and in particularly the nude. Her practice is rooted in a rigorous dedication to life drawing. Her works of the human body are powerful and expressive and have an economy of line that is bold and unfussy. She is working with and combining different processes to produce new bodies of work that are exciting and demonstrate a fresh way of looking at the human figure.
I shall be at St Paul's Church once again with original acrylics, limited edition prints, home made cards etc. www.matlockfm.com
